Description VGTR30-95-L
VGTR30-95-L - two-finger pneumatic gripper with extended stroke
VGTR30-95-L is a two-finger parallel pneumatic gripper by KIPVALVE with a T-slot guide and an extended jaw stroke. The model is used in robotic cells, machine tool systems, automated assembly stations and workpiece feeding systems where it is necessary to securely hold a part by two opposite surfaces and provide a sufficient finger opening range.
The L version is designed for tasks where an extended stroke is important: for VGTR30-95-L, the stroke is 15 mm per jaw. The maximum allowable distance between the fingers is 100 mm. The gripper is suitable for handling small parts, housings, workpieces, tooling elements and cylindrical components, provided that the working fingers are designed according to the part geometry.
The parallel opposing movement of the jaws helps to keep the workpiece stable during machine loading and unloading, transfer between process positions, assembly, sorting and other repetitive operations. The theoretical opening force is 55×P N, and the closing force is 49×P N, where P is the operating air pressure. The operating pressure range for this model is 3-7 bar, the gripping repeatability is ±0.02 mm, and the opening and closing time is 0.07 s.
What to consider when selecting VGTR30-95-L
According to the technical specifications, the maximum workpiece weight is 2 kg. However, a pneumatic gripper should not be selected based on this parameter alone. The actual holding capacity is affected by the material and surface condition of the part, the friction coefficient, the gripping method, the length and weight of the working fingers, the position of the center of gravity, robot acceleration and cycle time.
As the finger length increases, the moment load on the jaws and housing also increases, while the force at the contact point with the part decreases. For correct selection, it is necessary to consider the workpiece size, gripping area, weight, required stroke, part orientation during movement and operating conditions.
Configuration for a specific task
VGTR30-95-L can be used with working fingers designed for the shape of the part, position sensors, rotary units and pneumatic system components. This makes it possible to assemble a gripping unit for an industrial robot, automated line or machine loading station.
For operation in special conditions, configurations with a bottom air connection, dust protection cover and increased heat resistance are available. The required version should be selected according to the environment, equipment layout and technical specification.
