The KIPPRIBOR LA08 series inductive non-contact switch is a cylindrical sensor that reacts to
the presence of a metal object within its detection range.
KIPPRIBOR LA inductive sensors increase the service life of mechanisms and the overall
reliability of equipment. Due to the absence of moving parts and the ability to detect a
target at a distance, the sensors offer increased failure resistance.

The KIPPRIBOR inductive sensor of the LDS04 series has a cylindrical housing with a diameter
of just 4 mm and responds to the approach of a metal object to the front sensing surface
without physical contact.
The ultra-compact design allows the LDS04 to be installed in narrow slots, on compact robot
grippers, in precision machine tools, as well as on conveyor and sorting lines in the food
and pharmaceutical industries.

The sensor detects the approach of a magnet without contact and outputs a continuous signal
when a predefined triggering threshold is exceeded.
