  • Description VGTF33-56

VGTF33-56 - four-finger pneumatic gripper for square parts

VGTF33-56 is a compact four-finger centering pneumatic gripper by KIPVALVE with a T-slot guide. The model is designed for gripping and precise positioning of square parts, profile workpieces and specially shaped products in robotic cells, automated lines, machine tool systems and assembly stations.

The four fingers move synchronously toward the center, so the part is fixed from several sides at once and remains in a stable position before being transferred to a fixture, machine tool, inspection device or the next technological unit. This design is especially useful when a standard two-finger gripper is not sufficient for reliable part centering.

The stroke per jaw is 4 mm, and the maximum allowable distance between the fingers is 75 mm. The theoretical opening force is 74×P N, and the closing force is 68×P N, where P is the operating air pressure. The operating pressure range for this model is 3-7 bar, repeatability is ±0.02 mm, and opening/closing time is 0.02/0.02 s. According to the technical specifications, the maximum workpiece weight is 1.5 kg.

What to consider when selecting VGTF33-56

VGTF33-56 should not be selected only by the weight of the part. For correct operation, it is important to consider the workpiece geometry, gripping area size, surface condition, length and weight of the working fingers, center of gravity position, robot acceleration and required cycle time.

As the finger length increases, the moment load on the jaws and body also increases, while the force at the contact point with the part decreases. Therefore, the working fingers must be designed for a specific workpiece: square, profile, housing-type or non-standard. If the part has a complex shape, it is better to provide a drawing or 3D model for engineering selection.

    Gripping system configuration

VGTF33-56 can be used with working fingers designed for the part geometry, position sensors, rotary units and pneumatic system components. This configuration makes it possible to build a compact gripping unit for an industrial robot, automated line or loading and unloading station.

For special operating conditions, configurations with bottom air connection and high-temperature resistance are available. The required version depends on the equipment layout, working area temperature and mounting requirements.

Send us a drawing, 3D model or part parameters - KIPVALVE specialists will help you select the VGTF33-56 pneumatic gripper, working fingers, sensors and compatible components for your application.
